The Triple Door venue is located in the historic Mann building of Seattle, Washington. The building first opened its doors to the public in 1926, when it operated as a vaudeville house. As the popularity of films rose, what was then The Embassy Theatre changed its function to a movie house. Indeed, The Triple Door as we know it today didn't come into being until 2003 after the venue underwent a significant renovation as a result of coming under new ownership in 1999. Though the new and improved venue features an award-winning menu, plush seating and state-of-the-art sound, it has still managed to keep some of the signature characteristics of the original theater.
